Thankfulness in...November
Thankful for...Thanksgiving worship. We're so blessed to be able to worship freely anytime we want to, and we have so many incredible, amazing things to be thankful for each day. For our Thanksgiving service at church, everyone writes what they are thankful for on sticky notes and puts them on big windows in the back for everyone to see. It's a chance to physically see how many things there are to be thankful for, and to keep them in mind and constantly praise God for all that He's provided!
Thankful for...watching these geese out our back window.
But the next day, this happens... ;)
Thankful for...memories! Pulling out some toys for the kids who will be at our house for Thanksgiving, I found some old toys. Totally remember playing with this all the time when I was younger, and this was my mom's when she was little too! :) So neat to be able to pass things down like this, and I can't wait to do the same! :)
Thankful for...Save the Dates being delivered! Good things DO come in orange packages. ;)
Thankful for...Christian education. Tonight, Scott and Aubrey and Brian and I went to Hudsonville Christian's Education Foundation dinner, which raises money for the school. This year's speaker was Jason Hanson, former kicker for the Detroit Lions. He gave a great speech on the importance of Christian education.
Thankful for...watching Unity soccer! The boys made it to the State Finals this year, so mom, dad, Scott, Aubrey, and I went to watch. They won!
Thankfulness Every Day
Every day, there are different things to be thankful for...family, friends, God's nature, and His love for us. Every day there are little things we don't think about to thank God for, so I am looking for some of the "little" things I can thank God for each day. It could be as small as a cup of hot chocolate or as big as a beautiful sunset...there are things all around us to thank God for each day. "Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name." 1 Chronicles 29:13

Thankfulness in...October
Thankful for...a day on the farm with my family! Several members of my family came down for lunch and a tour around the farm - it was a perfect day outside! Brian showed them all the different barns and the milking parlor. Everyone enjoyed the tour, and learning more about his work! :)
Thankful for...spending a night in the combine! It's honestly like a whole new world, so many things I'm learning about - good thing Brian is extremely patient with me and is a great teacher! :)
Thankful for...making my gifts for my bridesmaid's gifts, a sugar scrub for the shower. :)
Thankful for...Scott making Profession of Faith. He shared his testimony in front of church, and it was amazing to hear the role his faith has played so far in his life. So proud of him!
Thankful for...going to Artprize with my mom! We got down there once together this year and checked out a few places - there were a few neat entries, but overall, it was nice to just walk around and see all the people and places all over GR.
