[November 25, 2012] Thankful for...a lazy Sunday. I made some cookies for Scott and Aubrey to bring back to Dordt, we all watched some football, and just chilled...
[November 24, 2012] Thankful for...basketball games! We went to the Calvin vs. Cornerstone and Hope vs. Aquinas basketball games at Hope College tonight. One of the guy's on Calvin's team played with Scott at Unity, and there were others from the area that played against him, so it was cool to watch them play.
[November 23, 2012] Thankful for...hanging out with our friend Becca! She came home from Washington DC for Thanksgiving, so we went to downtown Holland's Dutch Market, and then out for supper (which included a macaroni and cheese burger, a tater tot burger, and........a peanut butter and onion burger!) - it was a great night! :)
[November 22, 2012] Thankful for...a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had family over to our house this year, had some great food and fun playing games...it was nice to have Alec home from U of M, and Scott and Aubrey home from Dordt.
p.s. It was nice to have Joel and Jack there too... ;)

[November 20, 2012] Thankful for...finally finishing my one-legged stools! I bought some crutch tips at Gemmen's tonight, so they are finally ready to be used (after I made them in February!).

[November 18, 2012] Thankful for...the youth in my church! Tonight we had our "Encounter" worship service, where the middle and high school students lead every part of our worship...singing, messages, prayers, etc. The youth of our church are absolutely A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!!!
[November 17, 2012] Thankful for...new boots! My mom, Aunt Joan, and I went shopping at Woodland Mall, and I got these cute boots! :)
[November 16, 2012] Thankful for...Unity's musical! Katie and I went to see "Footloose" tonight - it was really good! :)
[November 15, 2012] Thankful for...seeing our friend Annie! She is up here from Florida for her sister's wedding, and we helped her make some (maybe a few hundred!) cookies for the wedding. It was so fun to hang out together! These were a few of the "rejects" for being too big! :)

[November 12, 2012] Thankful for...Scott's soccer season at Dordt! Today the post-season honors were released, and he made Honorable Mention for the GPAC conference, the 2nd time in his four years playing at Dordt. I'm so proud of him! :)
[November 11, 2012] Thankful for...a beautiful afternoon at Rosy Mounds in Grand Haven. Since it was so nice this afternoon, my mom, dad, aunt, and a couple cousins headed out there. It was super windy, but so gorgeous...
[November 10, 2012] Thankful for...a fun night out with my family. We went to a Burger King that has a Coke machine with 100 different combinations of pop...so here we have Jack's Peach Fanta, Joel's Peach Sprite, and my Lime Fanta. Other kinds we tried that night were Diet Coke Orange, Diet Coke Raspberry, and Cherry Sprite. :)
[November 9, 2012] Thankful for...my crazy friends... :) We were all able to get together tonight and had a nice night playing games and hanging out. I have no idea what lead to this picture though... :)
[November 8, 2012] Thankful for...fun colors! I made some cookies tonight for my kids tomorrow. We've been talking about Fall the past few weeks, so I made some cookies shaped like leaves and then made yellow, red, and orange frosting - hopefully they like it! :)
[November 7, 2012] Thankful for...pretty centerpieces. I picked up a bunch of little gourds on my way home from work today, and put them in this basket for the table. It will be perfect for Thanksgiving! :)
[November 6, 2012] Thankful for...being able to vote! I got in line at 6:45am, and was out of there at 7:20, but I'm thankful for the opportunity to vote.
[November 5, 2012] Thankful for...the corn being harvested behind our house. Now we can finally see better down 36th. :)
[November 4, 2012] Thankful for...new coffee creamer. :) My mom picked up these York Peppermint Patty creamers while they were in Iowa this weekend, so I'll have to try them soon!
[November 3, 2012] Thankful for...remembering my Grandma Van Wylen. She passed away one year ago today, and this is a sign I keep in my room, reminding me of her, and my Grandpa and Grandma Beute, and other loved ones as well. <3
[November 2, 2012] Thankful for...a chill night watching "Psych" with my cousins. :)
[November 1, 2012] Thankful for...cheap Halloween things! I grabbed this cake pan from Meijer today for $2.50 - I think it would be cute to bake a pumpkin cake next year for my students. :)
