Thankful for...another snow day. I didn't think it was that bad by us, but there were almost 400 school closings...
Thankful for...being able to watch Dordt basketball, finally!! They were playing tonight at a school in Sioux City, and they had video that our internet could keep up with (not the clearest video, but good enough!). :) I hooked my computer up to the tv, and watched them get an awesome win. :) Soooo hoping they can win out the rest of the season so they can make it to the NAIA national tournament, where they went to the Elite Eight last year!
Thankful for...my cousin Jack! It was his 14th birthday today, January 26, and my mom and I headed over there to bring him a balloon. Tomorrow we are celebrating with more family...Happy Birthday Jack!
Thankful for...a warm home. Today, the low temperature at our house was 2 degrees, with the wind chill even lower...praying for those who do not have the comforts that I am fortunate enough to have each day.
Thankful for...Winter finally being here! I admit, I am not a huge Winter fan, but it is so pretty when the snow falls!
Thankful for...Biggby with my mom! We both had gift cards and a coupon, and we thought this afternoon was a perfect time to each get one! :)
Thankful for...hot chocolate...yes, it's hot chocolate. :) I got this for Christmas this year (they had green for MSU and blue for U of M) - pretty interesting!

Thankful for...going to the MSU basketball game with Scott! One of Scott's friends buys tickets at the beginning of the season, and he had three of them for the January 13 game against Nebraska. So Scott and I, and his friend, all went to the game - it was so fun, and they won by 10. :)
Thankful for...football! We watched the Redskins-Seahawks game tonight, and Kirk Cousins got put in after RGIII got hurt...they were already down by 10 when he got put in and around 5 minutes left in the game, so he was put into a tough situation, but it was nice to actually get a chance to see him play.
Thankful for...snow. It didn't last long, but it was pretty!

Thankful for...a new project! My mom and I have been wanting to make these pillows for a while, so today we got some fabric and made two of them - we really like how they turned out!
