Thankful for...a wonderful birthday! I'm so thankful for friends and family who helped me celebrate the day...I was given some pretty neat gifts - a bunch of stuff for my car (dusters, a little brush to clean my wheels, a squeegee, and a car cover for the winter), a wallflower, a camera strap, a day shopping in Holland, a few Spartan things. My mom also gave me a book that I used to have when I was really little called "Mama's Secret" - it was fun to read through it, and totally remember reading it! What a special gift! So thankful I was able to spend the day with the people that I love! :)
Thankful for...a fun girl's night out! Aubrey and I headed to downtown Holland to check out their Rail Jam event - a mobile skiing/snowboarding set-up that people could use. They had open skiing and snowboarding, and then competitions later - the advanced snowboarding guys were pretty sweet. :) We met up with Katie and Erika down there too!

Thankful for...an (almost) perfect afternoon - hanging with the family, watching the MSU-UofM basketball game. Only thing it could have made it better was an MSU win. :)
Thankful for...another unexpected snow day! With about 6 inches of snow, another snow day was called on Tuesday. I had a chance to get some pics of Scott and Aubrey snowboarding down the jump Scott made on the side of the house...pretty cool!
Thankful for...celebrating Grandpa's 89th birthday! Almost everyone was able to get together at our house to celebrate...so much fun!

Thankful for...going to the Auto Show with my dad. We headed to GR to look at all the new cars that are coming out, and of course found a few of them that we liked. :)

Thankful for...my grandpa! Today, my dad and I went over to my grandpa's home to take pictures of him in his army uniform. Afterwards, he was telling us some stories from when he was in the army - it's so interesting to hear about his time over seas and what his jobs were.
Thankful for...an early Valentine's Day present! :) I had this cute little surprise on my desk Friday afternoon - it made my day!
Thankful for...a basketball game with my mom, brother, and aunt - Holland vs. Unity. It was such a good game, and after losing the first time they met this season, Unity came out on top this time.
Thankful for...the Superbowl! Although it was a disappointing game, we had a great time watching it with the fam! Also had some great food...here a few things we had that night!
