Thankful for...celebrating with my family. My mom invited some family over to celebrate me graduating with my Master's...I absolutely love spending time with my family, and we had a great afternoon together. I am so fortunate to have such supportive people around me, encouraging me in all that I do each day. :)

Thankful for...golfing! Scott, Joel, Jack, and I headed to the driving range on Saturday morning. A little chilly, but fun!
Thankful for...a beautiful view on my walking route. I typically walk around a lake that is nearby our house, and when the sun's shining, it makes me look forward to the Spring weather that should be coming soon!
Thankful for...surprise flowers! Brian sent flowers to the house after I got sick over Easter weekend, such a sweet surprise - they were beautiful! <3
Thankful for...the 50th anniversary of the Mustang! My parents traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina for the celebration, taking the car with them. They left home with 2-3 inches of snow on the ground, and it was a little cool there, but overall, they had a nice time. There were lots and lots of cars to look at - over 5,000 cars were registered!

Thankful for...spring flowers! My mom bought some mini daffodils for Aubrey, herself, and me - I brought mine to my classroom to brighten the room up, and help us get ready for Spring! :)
Thankful for...getting my final project ready to turn in! I had both of the copies bound and they are ready for final reviews. After that, I will have my own copy and a copy will be filed in Grand Valley's library. So excited that I almost have my Master's Degree! :)
Thankful for...crafting! I'm getting some things ready for Scott and Aubrey's shower coming up in May! :)
Thankful for...finding more photographs. Scott, Aubrey, and I went out for breakfast with grandpa, and afterwards, were looking through some of his old photographs. We found wedding pictures, and also some from when we was in the war - it was neat to learn more about his and Grandma's wedding and a few stories from the war as well. :)

Thankful for...old photographs. Scott and Aubrey were getting some things together for the wedding, and we ended up looking through my parent's wedding book. We also found a picture of my Grandpa and Grandma Beute on their wedding day...I love looking at old photographs, and makes me excited to be able to look back at all of my photos down the road. :)
Thankful for...Sunday morning sunrises. I can't quite get the sun from our deck, but I can get the reflection on the lake, which I'll take. :)
Thankful for...being wholeheartedly Dutch. :) Scott and I (and my mom on Friday) waited in line at Gander Mountain in Grandville on Friday and Saturday mornings to be part of the first 100 customers in the store, who all got $10 gift cards plus other free things. Between the two mornings, we ended up with $50 total in gift cards...a pretty good deal for waiting in line for just over an hour total over the two days - we'll do anything for a deal. ;)
Thankful for...seeing my old volleyball team! I was able to go watch them play this past Tuesday night...it was so fun - they played so well! I miss it so much, but am hoping to play next year!
