Thankfulness in...August

Thankful for...becoming engaged! :)  On August 31, I was down for church with Brian.  When we came home, Brian said he was going down to the barn because of few calves could have been born during church.  I asked if I could go with him because I hadn't seen a calf be born yet, but he said it could get kind of messy, so he would just go look. ;)  When he came back he said there was one down there, and asked if I wanted to go look at it, which I did. :)  We headed down to the barn and found this calf...

So thankful I am able to spend the rest of my life with him! :)

Thankful for...going to the Rose Garden Car Show with mom. :)  Just us two and the car, it was a fun night!

A beautiful sunset to end the night!

Thankful for...the Metro Cruise - had a good time with mom, dad, Grandpa, Jack, and Joel. :)

Thankful for...finishing my TV stand! :)  Brian bought a new tv for his house, so I started working on a stand for it to sit on.  I ended up buying a cabinet at Love INC for under $8, stained the top, and painted the bottom with chalk paint.  Thanks to everyone who helped with it! :)

Thankful for...spending an evening out in Holland with friends!

You never know what you might find in the beach parking lot... ;)

Thankful for...a small car show in Holland with mom and dad. :)

Thankful for...meeting baby James! My friend Lindy's 2nd little one was born this month, and he is such a cutie! :)

Thankful for...shopping in downtown Holland with mom.  We both had wanted to go for awhile, so we spent the morning there, visiting all the different shops.  We even saw a kid all dressed up, playing the accordion on the sidewalk - I love that there is always something like that happening down there! :)

Thankful for...Worship on the Waterfront in Grand Haven!  Sidewalk Prophets were there this night, so Brian and I went with mom, dad, Aunt Joan, and Uncle Bear.  It was such a great night worshiping with everyone! :)
